LEVI SPIRIT BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These booking terms and conditions are applicable to agreements between the tour operator and Levi Spirit Service Center (hereinafter referred to as “Levi Spirit”). The agreement only exists between the tour operator and Levi Spirit and all the terms and conditions enter into effect once the tour operator has made a booking in writing.
BOOKING AND PAYMENT
A booking is confirmed when the tour operator receives an invoice from Levi Spirit. The advance payment is 30% of the price and it must be paid 90 days prior to the beginning of the booking at the latest. The remaining 70% must be paid 28 days prior to the beginning of the booking at the latest. In the event that the booking has been made later than 28 days before the arrival date, the tour operator must pay the booking in full. Leaving a booking unpaid is not considered a cancellation. The tour operator must make all cancellations in writing. An email that Levi Spirit has replied to confirms the cancellation.
In the event that payments have not been made by the due date, Levi Spirit reserves the right to cancel the booking. Levi Spirit sends the tour operator a confirmation of the booking and other ordered services.
TERMS OF CANCELLATION
In the event that the tour operator wishes to cancel a booking, this cancellation must ALWAYS be made in writing to Levi Spirit’s sales office. In the event that the cancellation is made less than 72 hours prior to the arrival of the guests, the cancellation notice must be sent to the Levi Spirit Service Center.
The costs resulting from the cancellation depend on when Levi Sprit receives the written cancellation notice. If the written notice arrives more than 30 days prior to the arrival date, Levi Sprit will return the entire advance payment minus a service charge (€20) and cancellation fee (€30). If the written cancellation notice arrives less than 30 days prior to the arrival date, 30% of the advance payment will be charged. If the cancellation occurs within 14 days of the booking’s beginning date, the entire advance payment will be charged. The cancellation enters into effect on the date Levi Spirit receives the tour operator’s written cancellation notice. In the event that the tour operator can prove that the cancellation notice has been sent to the right address by the due date, Levi Spirit will accept the cancellation even if the notice has arrived late or has not arrived at all. In the event that the cancellation is caused by an illness, injury or death of the guest or his/her close relative, Levi Spirit will repay to the tour operator 30% of the advance payment minus a service charge (€20) and cancellation fee (€30). The tour operator must deliver a reliable document of the event (e.g., a medical certificate) to Levi Spirit within 14 days. In the event that the tour operator wishes to change a booking after it has been confirmed, this is considered a cancellation of the original booking and the changes form an entirely new booking.
LEVI SPIRIT’S RIGHT TO CANCEL A BOOKING
Levi Spirit reserves the right to cancel a booking for force majeure reasons and other reasons that are not under Levi Spirit’s control, such as fires or water damages. In such an event, Levi Spirit will immediately notify the tour operator and repay the entire sum paid by the operator.
If the advance payments have not been paid in time, Levi Spirit has the right to cancel the booking.
HANDING OVER OF KEYS
The keys to the villa are handed over to the guest upon arrival. The tour operator must notify Levi Spirit Service Center about the guest’s arrival time and flight number. This must be done via phone or email 24 hours prior to arrival at the latest. In the event that a guest misplaces the keys to the villa or fails to return them, Levi Spirit has the right to charge the tour operator or the guest for the costs of replacing the keys.
The villa will be available to the guests at 4:00 PM on the arrival day at the earliest. On the day of departure, the villa must be vacated by 12:00 noon. The tour operator must inform the guests of these times beforehand. If a guest needs to arrive earlier or depart later, this must be agreed upon separately.
The price of the villa includes bed linen, towels, bathrobes, kitchen and dining utensils and firewood. Other services are charged separately.
Levi Spirit staff will show the guests the villa and instruct them on how to adjust the lighting and use the sauna, hot tub, washing machine, Internet, AV equipment and other electrical appliances.
Cleaning service after departure is included in the price.
PETS, DAMAGES AND SMOKING
Pets are not allowed in Levi Spirit’s villas. The guests must notify Levi Spirit staff of all damages to the villa or its movables. This concerns items, electronic devices, furniture and other movables. As the guests arrive, Levi Spirit staff instructs them to ALWAYS contact the staff when they are unsure of how to use a piece of equipment at the villa.
Smoking inside the villa is absolutely prohibited. In the event that there is smoking, the tour operator or guest will be charged for cleaning costs to the extent of at least €300.
TERMINATION OF THE AGREEMENT BECAUSE OF DISTURBANCE OR VIOLENT BEHAVIOUR
In the event that a guest’s actions cause constant disturbance and/or danger to themselves or other guests and the guest does not adhere to instructions given by Levi Spirit staff, Levi Spirit has the right to terminate the agreement and remove the guest from the area. In such an event, the guest is responsible for all resulting costs.
NUMBER OF PERSONS
The number of persons staying at the villa must not exceed the number stated on the invoice. In the event that the number of persons exceeds that stated in the invoice or voucher, Levi Spirit reserves the right to charge an additional fee from the guest.
Additional guests are prohibited from camping within the Levi Spirit area using a camper van or other such means.
RECLAMATIONS AND ARBITRATION
In the event that the tour operator or villa guests wish to submit a reclamation regarding the booking or the condition of the villa, they must notify Levi Spirit staff of the matter immediately so that the issue can be fixed quickly. If the matter in question is not resolved during the stay, the tour operator must contact Levi Spirit’s sales office about the matter within one week for further action. If Levi Spirit and the tour operator cannot achieve a mutual understanding of the interpretation of the agreement or the repayable sum, the matter can be taken to the Central Chamber of Commerce of Finland for arbitration.
