Through the years Vanajanlinna has served delicacies made from local ingredients and prepared with cooking skills that are polished to perfection. Chef de cuisine Kasper Mäkinen summarises his food philosophy to two things: valuation of Finnish ingredients and respect to French cooking skills. The meals cooked in the kitchen of Vanajanlinna are refined but made with casual touch. Excellent service and relaxed and warm atmosphere are the core of everything we do, and the pleasure of flavors are a very important part of the whole experience of our guests.
