Carl Wilhelm is more than a restaurant.

It is an experience, a tribute to historical glory and contemporary food culture. The past and the present are intertwined, both in the thoughtful menu and in the interior design of the dining room. Every detail has been carefully considered.
 
The restaurant takes its name from Carl Wilhelm Rosenlew (1873-1942), the founder of Vanajanlinna. He created the tradition of Vanajanlinna, which is still built on today’s great taste experiences, surprises from top chefs, quality wines and unforgettable party atmosphere. For a hundred years, candles have been lit at parties when Finnish and international guests have celebrated at Vanajanlinna.
